Vintage Mini-Humbucker Set
Originally used in the Epiphone Sheraton and the Gibson Les Paul Deluxe, the smaller format Mini-Humbucker has a tighter, brighter sound compared to it's larger sibling. Constructed in a similar way to the full-sized humbucker, with a single bar magnet beneath the two smaller format bobbins, adjustable pole pieces and a steel rail replacing the steel slugs, they have plenty of high-end sparkle and clarity.
They are wound with 42awg plain enamel to approximately 6.5k (neck) and 7.5k (bridge) a use rough-cast AlNiCo 5 magnets in both positions.
Available with nickel or chrome covers.
As standard these pickups are lighty wax potted to allow a more open and detailed sound, but reduce the chances of any unwanted microphic feedback caused by the cover or baseplate.
