This one arrived looking like it's seen it's fair share of gigs and sweat, and one of the coils was showing as open circuit.

As they are a high output pickup, intended for high gain usage, they are very heavily potted, which means it gets a bit messy when dismantling them.

But, once I got it all cleaned up, it was easy enough to rewind to the same specs as the original, before putting it all back together and giving it a long soak in the potting bath.
